Installation & Workmanship Warranty: Chimnerds provides a [60-day] workmanship warranty covering the manual installation of parts and materials listed on this document. If a defect in our physical installation workmanship is identified within this period, it will be corrected at no labor charge. This warranty is strictly void if the system is modified, neglected, overloaded, or repaired by any third party after installation.
Component & Material Defect Limitation: All parts, liners, dampers, caps, and venting components installed by Chimnerds are purchased from reputable manufacturers and are subject exclusively to the original manufacturer’s structural warranty. Chimnerds does not manufacture these components and explicitly disclaims all liability for internal material failures, premature degradation, or manufacturing defects.
Total Limitation of Liability: Customer acknowledges that chimneys, wood/gas fireplaces, and dryer exhaust systems operate under extreme thermal and mechanical stress. Chimnerds is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—including but not limited to smoke damage, water infiltration, property damage, loss of use, or structural fire—resulting from component failures, hidden pre-existing defects, or structural settling. Our total financial liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Customer for the specific service rendered.
Code Compliance & Pre-Existing Conditions: Services are performed based on visible and accessible components in accordance with current standards (e.g., NFPA 211, IRC). Chimnerds assumes no liability for hidden, inaccessible, or unexposed code violations, unlined firebox, flue or smoke chambers, or structural deterioration within walls or chimney chases that existed prior to our service.
